8 AM

Commuting is a busy affair.

The metro station is always full of people waiting for the next available train.

Sometimes though, something magical happens.

In between people being loaded on an off the train there is a pause - a breath - an emptiness.

Peace.

Even though it is 8 AM, the peak of rush hour.

I am surrounded by empty air and the fragile tendrils of the autumn sunrise.

And I breathe, enjoying the moment, before moving on to my destination.
